Who you’re dealing with
The website at coolwavecarwash.com, our SMS program, our four Hampton Roads car wash locations, and our Unlimited Club membership program are all operated by Cool Wave LLC, a Virginia limited liability company.
By using any of our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian’s consent) to create an account, purchase a membership, redeem a promotional code, or opt in to our SMS list.
Wash services and pricing
- Wash prices, services, and amenities vary by location and may change. The current pricing on this site is authoritative for online purchases. In-person prices at the location are authoritative for in-person purchases.
- Single washes purchased online are non-refundable once issued, but unused washes do not expire (unless otherwise specified, e.g., promotional codes).
- Wash Books are pre-paid bundles of single washes. They are tied to the original phone number used at purchase. Books may be refunded for the unused portion within 30 days of purchase by contacting us.
- Free-wash codes (“first wash on us”) are limited to one per customer and one per phone number, valid 30 days from issue, non-transferable, and have no cash value.
Unlimited Club
- The Unlimited Club is a recurring monthly membership available only at our Indian River Express Tunnel location.
- Membership renews automatically each month at the price in effect at the time of renewal. We will notify you in advance of any price change.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current paid period — we don’t prorate or refund the current month, but we don’t lock you in either.
- Memberships are tied to one vehicle and one license plate. Sharing memberships between vehicles is not permitted.
- Membership is managed through our membership portal at customerportal.nxtwash.com/coolwavecarwash.
SMS program
Our SMS program is a marketing program operated by Cool Wave LLC. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring marketing text messages (offers, promotions, reminders, weather-driven campaigns) at the number you provided, including messages sent by autodialer. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
We may modify or terminate the SMS program at any time. We will not sell or share your number with third parties for their marketing. Full details and consent records are described in our Privacy Policy.
Promotional codes
Promotional and free-wash codes are issued at our discretion, may be limited per customer, and may not be combined with other offers unless we say so. Codes are void if obtained fraudulently, used after their expiration date, or transferred for resale. We may revoke unused codes at any time without notice.
Vehicle and personal property
Our automated washes are designed for standard passenger vehicles in normal condition. Customers are responsible for removing aftermarket accessories (loose mirrors, antennas, etc.), securing doors and windows, and removing valuables before entering the wash. We post damage policies at each location; please review them before use. Liability for vehicle damage is governed by the policy posted at each location, applicable law, and these Terms.
Acceptable use of the website
Don’t do these things on our website:
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or republish our content for commercial use without permission.
- Reverse-engineer, probe, or attack our systems.
- Submit false personal information, fake phone numbers, or spam.
- Use bots or automation to claim free washes, gift cards, or promotional codes.
Intellectual property
The Cool Wave name, logo, the wash-tier names (Storm, Nor’easter, Hurricane, Super Typhoon), site copy, photography, and design are owned by Cool Wave LLC. You may not use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Disclaimers
The website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Wash service quality is governed by the policies posted at each location. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cool Wave LLC’s total liability arising from your use of this website, the SMS program, or any wash service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question (or, in the case of free services, $25). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date tells you when. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continued use of the services after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
